“Today the Minister of Social Affairs Mary Hanafin came to our school to open our library. Neil de Burca also attended. One person out of each class had to say a line. I got picked out of my class. I handed the Minister a bunch of flowers. I think she liked them. Then we went to our new library, we said our bit. Mary cut the ribbon. Then Mary went next door to have tea. It was the grand opening of our library. I think it was a good day.” -Nicole 6th Class
